My Dad headed for his eternal home today. Knowing there's a Great Banquet ahead, I asked him to save us some seats. He's going to love the music and dancing - and the reunion of many. If I listen close I can almost hear his laughter - but I will miss him - and our weekly talks, so many stories told, jokes and laughter. These are gone for the moment - but so are his stroke effects, dementia and blindness - and because in God's presence there is fullness of joy, I look forward to resumed talks, stories, and laughter. So for now, Dad, may you lift a glass with Jack - and save some for me.
