The Captain's Wheel

And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, Captain, fit to bring them into their salvation.”   Hebrews 2:10

The Wheel Celebrates its Second Year

The Captain's Wheel launched from Hesse Park, Palos Verdes on January 29 with 42 members & Guests aboard. Deemed a "niche church" by church planters, The Wheel has begun its new faith journey with sails hoisted catching the Spirit's Wind for parts unknown. We now enter our third year building on the foundation God has built (Unless he builds we labor in vain)

Our 2nd Year Celebration reflected who we are: A slide show reflection wherein we laughed, cried, & pondered the gift God has given us; An affirmation of our board of overseers and assistant pastors - with scriptural encouragements, prayers, and congregational support; And the revealing of our “Servant of the Year” ( Lee Vanderpluym); Amazing cakes & pastries created by the Creatives; And George & Brent did a music/book signing. Such a meaningful day - It just might be the “time of our life”.

Motorboat or Sailboat?

What kind of faith journey are you on? A small group of us have chosen to pull up anchors in safe harbors and launch out for the adventure of a lifetime. We hope to hoist our sails and catch the Wind of God's Spirit, trusting our Captain will guide us to good, but unpredictable shores. So if you sense a call to sail for parts unknown, come join us - you are always welcome aboard…
